It’s likely going to be a hot one for homecoming, as the Atlantic Coast Conference announced a mid-day start for the Duke game.

With Georgia Tech coming off an impressive 63-17 win over Bowling Green on Saturday, the ACC announced it’s game on Oct. 13 versus Duke will kickoff at 12:20 p.m.

The game, slated as homecoming for the Yellow Jackets, will air on Raycom Sports as the 2-3 Jackets host the Blue Devils (4-1) who lost to No. 24 Virginia Tech at home Saturday 31-14.

Both teams are 0-1 in conference play. Georgia Tech will take on the Louisville Cardinals Friday night with short rest on the road, while Duke has a bye week prior to traveling to Atlanta.

Like Tech, Louisville is also 2-3 but is now 0-2 in ACC play having lost to Virginia and Florida State. The Jackets and Cardinals are set to kick at 7 p.m. as ESPN’s Friday night game.

Duke beat the Yellow Jackets 42-20 in Durham last season but lost to Georgia Tech 38-35 the last time the Blue Devils traveled to Atlanta in 2016.

David Cutcliffe’s squad last won in Atlanta back in 2014, beating Georgia Tech 31-25, one of the Yellow Jackets’ only three losses in an 11-win Orange Bowl championship season for Paul Johnson’s squad.
