4) The Yellow Jackets win the rest of their ACC schedule

This may be a bit bold considering the Jackets still have to face Virginia Tech and Miami this season but honestly, none of the ACC teams left for the Yellow Jackets to face this season are that great of a team. Duke looked great to start off the year but their loss to Virginia Tech really exposed some major flaws in the Blue Devils game that other teams will surely look to take advantage of. Virginia Tech this season has struggled in two of their last three games including a loss to Old Dominion. North Carolina is among the worst power five teams in America and like last year, the game shouldn’t even be a contest. Miami has looked especially beatable this season and don’t let their scores against Savannah State, Toledo, and North Carolina fool you. The Hurricanes are closer to the team we saw in week one against LSU than the team the boxscore says they are in those three games, in my opinion. Virginia always give the Yellow Jackets troubles but there is no reason that the Jackets shouldn’t beat the Cavaliers.

ESPN’s FPI doesn’t give this bold prediction much of a shot, as they have the Jackets as the underdogs in just two of their five ACC games the rest of the season.
