The Georgia Tech 2019 recruiting class received its first commitment in a few months as three-star wide receiver Kalani Norris committed to the Yellow Jackets.

The 2019 Georgia Tech recruiting class received it’s 16th commitment on Tuesday evening when Florida wide receiver Kalani Norris committed to the Yellow Jackets. Norris, a consensus three-star recruit committed to the Yellow Jackets over Baylor and Boston College to just name a few of his other offers.

Norris is ranked as the 654th best player in the nation according to 247Sports, making him the second highest ranked player in the 2019 recruiting class only behind Nashville, Tennessee cornerback Wesley Walker. He’s also ranked as the 87th best wide receiver and the 89th best player in the Sunshine state.

The Miami native overall had 37 offers according to his 247Sports profile including offers from Baylor, Boston College, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Temple. It’s safe to say that the three-star had quite the offer sheet and should be considered a tremendous get by the Georgia Tech staff and is a great pick up for his primary recruiter, wide receivers coach Al Preston.
