With Georgia Tech in the middle of their bye week, we thought it would be a great time to hand out grades for the Yellow Jackets for their total performances through seven weeks.

Usually, we would try to do mid-season grades here at YellowJackedUp but with the bye week following week seven, we thought that this would be a great week to do “mid-season” grades for the Yellow Jackets. Yes, it’s not truly mid-season any more but we’re going to forget the formality and just go with it! Sound good? Great!

Now, enough with that nonsense, let’s get to the actual reason for this article. Today, as mentioned above, we’ll be handing out “mid-season” grades to each member of Georgia Tech’s offense that we believe we can properly grade giving their sample size. There are a number of players that we feel don’t have enough of a sample size to receive proper grading. Secondly, we are automatically non-grading any player that has not recorded any stats. But notable offensive players that we are omitting are the following;

  • BB KirVonte Benson
  • BB Joseph Macrina
  • AB Ohmari Jarrett
  • QB James Graham
  • AB Melvin Davis
  • AB Xavier Gantt

The third and final note regarding the grades we’d like to pass along is instead of breaking down the offensive line player-by-player, a task that would take hours in which we don’t have, we are going to supply a grade for the offensive line as a whole. With all that, let’s finally get into our grades, starting with the quarterbacks.
