Game 3: 24-19 loss to Pittsburgh

What happened:

The Yellow Jackets fell victim to a slow start as they found themselves trailing 21-0 going into halftime. They would find themselves offensively in the second half outscoring Pittsburgh 19-3 but their inability to finish a few drives and a key missed tackles ultimately doomed them in the end.
In retrospect:

In retrospect, this was a really bad loss for the Yellow Jackets and there’s no way around it. Yes, Pittsburgh is going to be playing in the ACC Championship game but that’s only because the ACC Coastal is potentially the worst Power 5 division right now. The Jackets should have beaten the Panthers and if the game was played over again, the Jackets probably win by double-digits. That being said, you can’t change the past and this loss stung the Jackets, to say the least. If the Jackets won this game, they would’ve won the ACC Coastal and found themselves playing in Charlotte next weekend.

Conclusion:

A really bad loss that kept the Jackets from winning the Coastal. These losses can’t happen going forward.
