The Georgia Tech coaching staff is looking to finish out their 2019 recruiting class but they’re also looking ahead to the future and on Tuesday they offered a few 2020 targets including some elite in-state talent.

The final National Signing Day of the 2019 recruiting cycle is only two weeks away but the Georgia Tech coaching staff gave attention to 2020 recruiting class on Tuesday. The Jackets came off a busy weekend which saw them host several top 2019 prospects on official visits, receive a commitment from 2019 LB Cornelius Evans, hosted their annual junior day, and saw a top target decommit from NC State in Jamious Griffin.

Going forward, each day that there is a substantial amount of recruiting news, we’ll post a daily recruiting update that goes over all the news of the day. On Tuesday, the Yellow Jackets sent out several offers to recruits and showed off a new toy courtesy of the Georgia Tech athletic department.

Geoff Collins gets a new toy:

The Georgia Tech athletic department appears to have dipped into their funds and invested in a helicopter for the football coaching staff. The helicopter shows Tech’s athletic department and boosters are willing to reach into their pockets with the new coaching staff. The helicopter will be a great asset for the program in traveling to in-state programs and close out-of-state programs.
