Georgia Tech’s 2019 recruiting class is officially in the books and this is our predictions of how much you will see of each player in 2019.

The Regulars:

These players are the guys that we expect to see on a regular basis next season for the Yellow Jackets and burn their redshirts. One or two of these guys may even push for starting time at their position.

WR Ahmarean Brown:

Georgia Tech wide receiver coach Kerry Dixons stresses speed and Brown has the best speed of any of the four wide receivers the Jackets are bringing in from the class of 2019. Brown has the chance to be a solid wide receiver for the Yellow Jackets from the jump and will spend most of his time in the slot.

TE Dylan Deveney:

With only two natural tight ends on the roster entering the 2019 season, Deveney is set to make an immediate impact on The Flats and will most likely be the backup tight end behind UConn transfer Tyler Davis. Deveney at most programs wouldn’t play right away but he has a special opportunity with the Yellow Jackets.

RB Jamious Griffin

A player like Griffin just has too much talent to sit on the bench his first year. Griffin could very well be a “Day 1 starter” for the Yellow Jackets but either way, we expect to see plenty of the 2018 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year. Griffin is a special talent and Tech fans should get to see his talent plenty next season.

WR Kalani Norris:

Norris is one of the players that we are borderline on for next season but we’re pushing him as a regular. We think he has the chance to be a huge weapon for the Yellow Jackets but there’s not a necessity for him to be a regular in 2019. We’re expecting him to be ready to go in the fall and we think he’ll prove rather quickly to be a nice weapon for the Jackets on offense. He may not put up a ton of stats but he’ll be a consistent presence.
