Christian Malloy

Malloy at 5-foot-10 and 200-pounds has the classic size for a running back and in his limited time seen on the field as a true freshman looked good. The Parkview High School product played in just one game last year but saw four carries, rushing for 27-yards.

Malloy doesn’t possess elite speed but does have enough to outrun most defenders in the first and second levels. He does, however, have great lower body strength that allows him to push through would-be tacklers. He didn’t look exceptionally shifty either in his high school tape but as long as Malloy can pick up first downs, the lack of flash won’t be a problem.

Malloy this upcoming season should see more time in the backfield and has a chance to push for a starting role but is probably not the favorite to do so entering the spring.
