Three-star offensive tackle Jordan Williams committed to Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon.

The Georgia Tech football had a busy day on Saturday, landing their second commitment of the day. On Saturday as they landed a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Jordan Williams.

The 6-foot-6, 303-pound native of Gainesville committed to the Jackets on Saturday afternoon while on a visit to The Flats. He wasn’t the only recruit to commit while on campus on Saturday as former five-star defensive end Antonneous Clayton committed to the Jackets after announcing his transfer from the University of Florida.

Clayton committed to the Jackets despite a quality list of offers which includes Indiana, N.C State, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. While he still has a ways to go in his development, William’s natural size at 6-foot-6, and 303-pounds makes him a player worth taking a chance on. With elite size such as that, all it takes is the right offensive line coach to get to all click. Brent Key will look to be that coach for Williams.

Williams is ranked by 247Sports’s composite rankings as a top-900 player nationally, a top-80 offensive tackle, and a top-90 player in the state of Georgia. Williams is the sixth commitment of the 2020 recruiting class for the Yellow Jackets and the fourth player from the Peach State. He joins WR Ryan King (Logansville – Grayson), Jalen Huff (Buford – Buford), and Billy Ward (Locust Grove – Locust Grove) as players who are staying home and playing on The Flats.
