2020 offensive lineman Cade Kootsouradis ended his recruitment on Monday when he committed to the Georgia Tech football program.

Cade Kootsouradis hasn’t visited a ton of programs and hasn’t received a ton of offers just yet but he was ready to end his recruitment on Monday  when he publicly announced his commitment  to Georgia Tech. Kootsouradis made his commitment while making an unofficial visit to The Flats on Monday.

Kootsouradis, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive tackle out of Crestview, Florida has only received two scholarship offers according to his 247Sports profile and one of those was obviously from the Yellow Jackets. His primary recruiter was offensive line coach Brent Key and his secondary recruiter was Nathan Burton according to 247Sports.

Cade is currently unranked by the major recruiting services but will most likely receive a rating in the upcoming days now with his commitment. Kootsouradis is the second 2020 offensive tackle to commit to the Jackets joining Gainesville, Georgia native Jordan Williams. He also marks the Jackets eighth commitment overall and the second commitment in the last three days joining linebacker Jared Behrens.

Kootsouradis’s comes a strong football family and has a brother Seth currently playing at Lousiana-Lafayette. He’s also a multi-sport athlete, also playing baseball which adds into Georgia Tech football’s commitment to recruiting just not great football players but great athletes.

For those out there worried about Kootsouradis’s lack of offers or overall ranking, we would say don’t worry. Kootsouradis’s recruitment really seems to have just started in the last few months and there are plenty of offers that will still come his way it seems. Last month, he visited Florida State. Additionally, Brent Key is one of the best recruiters and talent identifiers in the country which should be considered when it comes to Tech’s offensive line targets and commitments.

Overall, Kooutsouradis continues a hot streak on the recruiting trail for Georgia Tech and gives them their eighth commitment in the last two months. As a current unranked player, his commitment won’t affect the rankings.
