No.7 The Citadel

This game came in as the worst home game for Georgia Tech in 2019 as it is against an FCS opponent. While it’s the game that is the closest to a sure-fire win, it just doesn’t feel as good when it’s an FCS opponent. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Power 5 teams scheduling FCS teams but I’m not making these decisions for a reason. The Citadel has been a good program each of the last two years and played Alabama hard last season for an entire half. That being said, this game is the least exciting on the schedule. The one saving grace it does have going for it, however, is that it will be Geoff Collins’ first game at Bobby Dodd Stadium as Georgia Tech’s head coach.
