No.1: Georgia

This selection as Georgia Tech’s best home game of the 2019 season is pretty self-explanatory. It’s the Clean, Old Fashioned Hate rivalry game between the Yellow Jackets and the Georgia Bulldogs. While the Jackets are expected to have a rebuilding year of sorts, the Bulldogs are expected to be among the top teams in the nation again, so a win for the Jackets could derail UGA’s title hopes in 2019. That being said, add in the fact, it’s Geoff Collins’ first COFH game and it adds a bit more excitement to the game. That’s not even mentioning the fact that Georgia legitimately brings one of the most talented teams in the country to Bobby Dodd and while everyone hates the Bulldogs, you can’t deny the talent that they possess.

While Tech fans look forward to the six home games this upcoming season, the Jackets will first focus their attention on the defending national champions, the Clemson Tigers as they take on the Tigers on August 29th in Death Valley.
