Georgia Tech football will wear a brand new grey, alternate uniform on October 5th when the Yellow Jackets take on North Carolina.
In today’s college football, alternate uniforms are all the craze, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been able to dip more into the alternate uniform world with their partnership with Adidas. Some people are for alternate uniforms and some people despise alternate uniforms. That being said, no matter which side of the spectrum you are on, everyone should be for the Jackets alternate uniforms on October 5th.
On October 5th when the Jackets take on the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Jackets will be wearing alternate uniforms for Cape Day Atlanta. Cape Day for those who may not know is an annual celebration in Atlanta that honors and celebrates the brave, superhero kids who fight cancer. The true superheroes in our world.
With that, the Jackets will be taking part in this year’s celebration with their alternate uniforms. The uniforms that the Jackets will wear on October 5th are a beautiful grey-based uniform that features gold numbers as well as gold accents on the shoulders. Both the gold numbers and shoulder accents also feature the classic Tech “bee hive” hexagon. It also features a very nice logo above where the nameplate would be that features the classic Superman logo outline with two small children holding hands. Overall, it’s a beautiful jersey design and uniform that truly honors the children that fight for their life every day against pediatric cancers.
For the Jackets game against UNC on October 5th, fans are encouraged to wear gold. Additionally, fans can purchase replicas of the jerseys, here.
