Conference Championship Predictions:

Power 5 Conference Champions:

  • Dylan Callaghan-Croley: My conference champions are going to go pretty much to what is expected nationally. I expect Alabama to win the SEC once again in 2019 and I expect them to take down Georgia once again in the SEC Championship game. In the Big Ten, I see Ohio State coming out on top once again. I think the Big 12 and Pac 12 have the chance to be interesting races and could come down to the final minutes of the regular season. That being said, I’m going to go chalk and go with Oklahoma to win the Big 12 narrowly over Texas while Utah walks out of Santa Clara as Pac-12 champions. Finally, in the ACC, there’s no doubt about who’s going to win the conference, it will be Clemson.
    • ACC – Clemson
    • Big Ten – Ohio State
    • Big 12 – Oklahoma
    • Pac 12 – Utah
    • SEC – Alabama
  • Lee Cagle: My conference champions for 2019 are the following; In the ACC, I expect that Clemson will once again win the ACC to no ones surprise and they’ll take down Miami in the ACC Championship game. In the Big Ten, I’m going to go with a surprise and take the sneaky Iowa Hawkeyes. Coming out of the Big 12 will be the Oklahoma Sooners this time behind Alabama transfer Jalen Hurts. For the Pac-12, I’m going to go with ESPN’s Lee Corse and say that Utah wins the Pac-12 and they’ll take down the USC Trojans in the Pac-12 Championship game in the process. Finally, coming out of the SEC won’t be Alabama but will be UGA who finally gets over the hump to beat the Crimson Tide.
    • ACC: Clemson
    • Big Ten: Iowa
    • Big 12: Oklahoma
    • Pac 12: Utah
    • SEC: Georgia
  • Bronston Tankersly: To start off, I think we’ll once again see Clemson and Alabama to win the ACC and SEC respectively, there’s simply no other teams in either conference that are capable of knocking off these two programs off the top of their totem poles. In a bend or break season for Jim Harbaugh, I look to see the Michigan Wolverines have a big season and for them to finally win the Big Ten. In the Big 12, Texas is coming off an impressive 2018 campaign and I can see them building off that momentum and taking it to the next level in this season, give me the Longhorns for the Big 12. Finally, for the Pac-12, I believe this is finally the year we see the Ducks back in the top-10 consistently. I believe they will be out Washington in the Pac-12 North and then win the conference championship game over whoever escapes out of the Pac-12 South.
    • ACC: Clemson
    • Big Ten: Michigan
    • Big 12: Texas
    • Pac 12: Oregon
    • SEC: Alabama
