In continuation of their way to honor the late Brandon Adams, the Georgia Tech football program has selected wide receiver Omahri Jarrett to wear the No.90 jersey against Temple.

In a way to honor, fallen teammate Brandon Adams, Georgia Tech has handed the No.90 jersey out to one player each week in a way to honor Adams. For the Jackets fourth game of the season, they have selected redshirt senior Omahri Jarrett to wear Adams’ No.90 on Saturday afternoon against the Temple Owls.

For the Jackets week one game against Clemson, fellow defensive lineman and possibly the cloest friend of Adams, Chris Martin was selected to wear the Adams’ jersey. Jarrett joins Chris Martin, Tyler Cooksley, and Nathan Cottrell as players chosen to wear the jersey so far this season.

Jarrett so far this season has yet to record any stats and has seen the field sparingly. A depth player at wide receiver, Jarrett has not cracked the normal rotation for the Jackets and probably won’t see much time on the field on Saturday either.

The Jackets and Owls will kickoff at 3:30 pm on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Lincoln Financial Field. It will be the first ever matchup between the two programs. It will also be the first time that Geoff Collins faces his former program in the Owls, spending each of the last two seasons in Philadelphia.  Both teams are looking to bounce back from shocking losses in their last games out against The Citadel and Buffalo respectively.
