Defensive Line, Antonio Simmons

Antonio Simmons actually played at the linebacker position his Freshman year in 2014 before moving to the defensive line in 2015. After his move to the defensive line there was an adjustment period but he really started to shine in his Senior year in 2017 where he managed 31 tackles, 5.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.

Simmons ended his career at Georgia Tech with a total of 83 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 16.5 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles.

As we look to close the door on another decade, we also open another door to a new decade of Georgia Tech football. Coach Geoff Collins will be taking the helm for his second year in 2020 while also bringing in his talent and recruiting skills. The upcoming decade could possibly be one of the best for Georgia Tech football. Only time will tell.
