Wide Receiver (3), DeAndre Smelter

Jacket fans only got to see two years of wideout DeAndre Smelter coming in 2013 and 2014, but that did not stop him from producing the big plays and numbers. With a run heavy offense, it seems that the Georgia Tech wide receivers of the 2010’s were ripe for producing break out plays.

Smelter ended up with 1,060 yards, 11 touchdowns and an average of 18.9 yards per catch. With only playing two years under the Paul Johnson run-heavy triple-option offense, those numbers should not be taken lightly.
