With spring practices starting in the upcoming future for Georgia Tech football, it is time that we begin looking at different position groups heading into the spring.

The Georgia Tech Football program is set to start year two of the Geoff Collins era in the upcoming future. The Yellow Jackets will most likely begin their 2020 spring practices early next Month and with the end of Feburary less than a week away, it’s time to get started breaking down the Jackets individual groups heading into the spring.

First up on our list is the most important position on the field, the quarterback position. In 2020, the quarterback play for Georgia Tech was sub optimal to say the least. If the Yellow Jackets are going to take any step forwards in 2020 as a program, they’ll need to see an increase in the level of play at the position.

Heading into the spring, the Yellow Jackets have four scholarship quarterbacks on the roster in James Graham, Tobias Oliver, Jordan Yates, and true freshman Tucker Gleason. The Jackets will have another scholarship quarterback on the roster come this summer when highly touted quarterback Jeff Sims enrolls on The Flats.

Over the next few pages, we’ll give quick notes on each of the four scholarship quarterbacks currently on their roster and comment on their chances of being the Jackets starter come next season.
