Jordan Yates

Yates as a true freshman appeared briefly for the Yellow Jackets last season, playing in three games this season. He appeared in games against Duke, Virginia Tech, and Georgia with most of his playing time coming against the Hokies. Overall, in his three games played, Yates completed 4-of-12 passing attempts for 38-yards. He also had 11 rushing attempts for 18-yards.

It’s hard to base off this past season what Yates really could provide as the quarterback at the college level. That being said, Yates in his high school showed the ability to really be a game changing quarterback and that potential is still there.

For Yates, this is a big offseason, possibly even more for James Graham and Tobias Oliver. With two true freshman coming in, he doesn’t really have the ability to miss a step in this competition.
