Christian Malloy/Jerry Howard:

Malloy most likely enters the spring as the Jackets No.3 running back and he’ll need to have a big spring with Gibbs coming in this summer. Last year, Malloy played sparingly for the Yellow Jackets with just seven carries but possess a skillset that could make him a solid back in the rotation.

Howard had a bigger role with the Jackets offense in 2019, carrying the ball 23 times for 102-yards but it wouldn’t be shocking to see that role diminished in 2020. He’s one of the slower running backs of the group but still posses decent speed. That being said, he probably is better suited as a fullback for the Jackets this season. Believe it or not, Howard is already in his senior season with the Jackets so he’ll most likely look to help the team in any way he can even if it’s not his traditional role.
