Georgia Tech Football: Jackets Learn Kickoff Times for Several Games
On Tuesday, the Georgia Tech football program learned the kickoff time for several of their games this 2020 season.
As the Georgia Tech football program and fans alike get ready for the 2020 season to kick off in just a little over a week, we now officially have kickoff times for a few Tech games this season. On Tuesday, the Jackets learned the times of kickoffs against Florida State (Sep.12), UCF (Sep.19), and Louisville (Oct.9).
The Jackets season opener against Florida State will be a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and will be nationally televised on ABC. It will be the Jackets’ first matchup against the Seminoles since the famous Miracle on Techwood Drive back in 2015.

One week later, the Jackets will have their home opener against the UCF Golden Knights with another 3:30 kickoff and the game televised on ESPN. The Golden Knights are one of the nation’s top G5 programs and will prove to be a difficult opponent for the Jackets. You can check out our camp notes on the Golden Knights, here.
Finally, we learned of the Jackets kickoff time for their October 9th matchup against Louisville, a Friday night contest. In that game, the two teams will kick off at 7:00 p.m at Bobby Dodd Stadium with the game once again televised on ESPN.
The Jackets are still waiting to learn the kickoff time of their September 26th matchup against the Syracuse Orange in Syracuse. They also do not know any kickoff times for any games following their Friday night showdown against Louisville.
But for now, that is not a concern for the Yellow Jackets as they continue to prepare for their season opener against Florida State with just 10 days remaining until September 12. The Yellow Jackets will look to improve on their three wins from Geoff Collins’s first season in 2019.
