Georgia Tech is coming off a big second win of their season last Friday against the Louisville Cardinals but the Jackets will now face their toughest opponent of the season, the Clemson Tigers.

Georgia Tech may be riding an emotional high from their win over Louisville this past Friday night but the Jackets will need to put the victory pass them quickly in order to get ready for the Clemson Tigers.

Entering game week, the Jackets are significant underdogs to the Tigers with Clemson opening as a 26.5 point favorite. A 10-point improvement for the Yellow Jackets from last season as the Tigers were 36.5 point favorites. The Tigers would go on to win the game 52-14. The early over-under for the game is 60.5-points.

The Jackets so far this season are 2-2 against the spread, covering in their victories against Florida State and Louisville but failing to cover against UCF and Syracuse. In terms of over-under, the over has gone over in three of the Jackets four games including two games of overs over 60-points.

Clemson enters this upcoming weekend 4-0 on the season and coming off 42-17 over the then No.7 ranked Miami Hurricanes. Arguably the most talented team in the country, the Tigers boast a lineup that includes the likes of QB Trevor Lawrence, RB Travis Etienne, WR Amari Rodgers, DL K.J Henry, and DE Myles Murphy just to name a few.

Lawrence, a generational quarterback prospect, is the likely No.1 draft pick in next year’s NFL draft and is currently boasting a stat line of 1,140-passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Last season, Lawrence threw two interceptions against the Jackets.

Saturday afternoon’s game between the Jackets and Tigers is currently set for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff and will be televised nationally on ABC, it will be the third time this season the Jackets will be featured nationally.
