Georgia tech now has five open scholarships to offer and after a disappointing 2021-22, many are hoping head coach Josh Pastner uses these wisely.

On April 5th, former Georgia Tech center Saba Gigiberia decided to put his name into the transfer portal after two seasons with Georgia Tech. Now this departure, this leaves Yellow Jackets head coach Josh Pastner with five scholarships to work with and try and find suitable replacements for the talent that he has lost.

This will not be an easy task for Pastner. Not only does he have to find the right guys that will fit in with the way he coaches at Georgia Tech and a guy who is willing to play for him. He has to find a player that will be able to keep up academically and not fall below Georgia Techs’ requirements for their students.

So without further ado here are some targets I would keep an eye on if you are a Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets basketball fan.
