There’s plenty of buzz around The Flats this weekend. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are back home, hosting Virginia Tech . In a key ACC matchup that doubles as Hall of Fame Weekend, a perfect mix of football, tradition, and celebration.

The Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame is one of the most respected in college athletics. It honors those who’ve worn the White and Gold with pride and made lasting marks in their sports. This year’s class features athletes and coaches from multiple Georgia Tech sports.

The Georgia Tech Hall of Fame website features a quote from interim athletic director Jon Palumbo. “We are proud to announce the members of the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025,” “Georgia Tech has one of the most prestigious halls of fame in all of college athletics, thanks to its long history and the success of so many legendary Yellow Jackets. We’re excited to celebrate this group, along with the Class of 2024, when Tech hosts Virginia Tech the weekend of Oct. 10–11.”

The official hall of fame ceremony will be held Friday night at the Ferst Center for the Arts. Followed by an on-field recognition Saturday at halftime of the game against the Viginia Tech Hokies.

Expect the energy to be high inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. Georgia Tech is off to an undefeated start through five games, their best in years, and the fan base can feel something special brewing. Add Hall of Fame Weekend to the mix, and the atmosphere should be electric. Head coach Brent Key, quarterback Haynes King, and the Yellow Jackets will look to keep that energy rolling as they open the second half of a promising season.
