Georgia Tech enters its final ACC game of the season with everything still in front of them. A win over the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday night would secure a berth in the ACC Championship Game, keep their postseason dreams alive, and elevate the Yellow Jackets to 10–1 before next week’s massive rivalry matchup with Georgia.

And this one isn’t just any game. It’s Senior Day. It’s under the lights at Bobby Dodd Stadium. And it’s easily one of the biggest home games Georgia Tech has hosted in years.

The Yellow Jackets have spent the season proving they belong among the league’s best, but this is the moment where contenders show who they really are. After a wobbly defensive performance two weeks ago against NC State, the pressure sits squarely on the defense to respond. Can they step up, get stops, and set the tone in front of a primetime home crowd? Or will inconsistency open the door for Pitt to spoil Tech’s championship hopes?

Offensively, Georgia Tech enters the matchup with confidence. Haynes King and the unit have been the steady force all season, and another strong performance could push the Jackets across the finish line. But with so much at stake, Tech needs all three phases to deliver.

Win, and everything stays alive—an ACC title shot, a 10–1 record, national respect, and a chance to build a résumé worthy of Playoff consideration. The path is simple. Georgia Tech controls its destiny. Now they just have to seize the moment.

It will be a sellout crowd Saturday night in Atlanta. Expect the stadium to be rocking as Haynes King and crew look to sting the Panthers. Hopefully the defense shows up.
