Georgia Tech’s offensive line continues to turn heads across college football. The Yellow Jackets’ front five were recognized this week as one of the nation’s best, earning a place on the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll. Which highlights the most outstanding offensive line units in college football each season.
Through six games, the group has been a major reason why the No. 12-ranked Yellow Jackets are off to a perfect 6-0 start — their best in decades. The line has helped power an offense that ranks among the top programs in the country in several key categories, including rushing offense (11th, 238 yards per game), total offense (13th, 476.8 yards per game), and fewest sacks allowed. Tied for fourth nationally, averaging just 0.5 per game.

Anchoring this dominant unit are left tackle Ethan Mackenny, left guard Joe Fusile, center Harrison Moore, right guard Keylan Rutledge, and right tackle Malachi Carney. All have started the first six games this season. Rutledge, in particular, has received national attention, being named one of only five guards on the Lombardi Award Midseason Watch List. An honor reserved for the top linemen in college football.
This recognition adds to what has been a season full of milestones for Georgia Tech. Earlier in the week, head coach Brent Key was named to the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Watch List, underscoring the program’s remarkable rise under his leadership.
With momentum on their side, the Yellow Jackets now turn their attention to this Saturday’s matchup against Duke (4-2)in Durham. As Georgia Tech looks to remain unbeaten. It is clear that the offensive line’s toughness, unity, and consistency continue to set the tone for one of the most exciting stories in the nation
