No. 7 Georgia Tech Looks to Stay Perfect Against Syracuse

The seventh-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are home this weekend. They face the unranked Syracuse Orange (3–4) in another ACC matchup.

For Georgia Tech, this is a big chance to move to 8–0 on the season. It is also another step toward a dream year for Brent Key’s team. The home crowd will be fired up for homeccoming weekend. And excited to their team take the next step forward . In what is shaping up to be a cinderella season.

Key’s Yellow Jackets have been one of college football’s best stories. They’re chasing more than just wins. Georgia Tech is in the mix for the ACC title game and a spot in the new 12-team College Football Playoff.

On Friday, Georgia Tech was listed as a 16.5-point favorite. Meanwhile, Fran Brown’s Syracuse squad hopes to pull off a major upset on the road.

Quarterback Haynes King and the Jackets are also looking for payback. Last season, they lost 31–28 at Syracuse. In that game, King completed 29 of 39 passes for 266 yards and a touchdown. He also ran six times for 67 yards and two more scores.
