Geoff Collins will go down as the worst coach in Georgia Tech football. Collins has the worst win percentage by a permanent head coach at Georgia Tech. Collins was never able to win back-to-back games and also struggled to beat FCS teams, most notably The Citadel.

Here is a breakdown of Collins's tenure at Georgia Tech.

  • 2019: 3-9, 2-6 conference
  • 2020: 3-7, 3-7 conference
  • 2021: 3-9, 2-6 conference
  • 2022: 1-3, 0-1 conference

Collins did not last more than four games into what would be his final season at Georgia Tech. Fans were begging other teams to beat them in hopes that Collins would get fired. He was fired after getting beat 27-10 by UCF in 2022.
