Jackson visited The Flats on Saturday and had a great visit which is evident and on Sunday, the Yellow Jackets offered Jackson. For Jackson, it was “crystal clear” that Georgia Tech was the place he wanted to be for college.
Jackson had a total of 22 other scholarship offers through his recruitment, a solid mix of major and mid-major programs.
Jackson is a linebacker who could mold into a pretty solid, if not great linebacker at the college level and be a difference maker for Tech’s defense. Already standing at 6-foot and 215-pounds, Jackson still can grow more and add some weight which would make him all the more intimidating on defense.
Jackson provides a strong skill set and is fast to the ball career with strong closing speed. He appears to be the prototypical run-and-chase linebacker. A linebacker who will give it his all to chase down any ball carrier. Yellow Jacked Up will have a complete analysis of Jackson’s skills and abilities up on Tuesday.
