The Georgia Tech football team is rather healthy heading into their week four game against the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Heading into week four, the Georgia Tech football team is rather healthy, the week off certainly allowed players with minor injuries to heal. That being said, there are still three Jackets who had more serious injuries.

More from Football Recruiting

DE Kyle Cerge-Henderson – Probable:

The junior defensive end left the season opener against Tennessee injured with a leg injury. He was kept out of the Jackets week two matchup against FCS Jacksonville State. After an additional week off, it Cerge-Henderson will be playing against Pittsburgh barring any unforeseen setbacks.

His return will supply a strong veteran presence on the defensive line that is still trying to come into their own. If the Jackets are going to make a run at the ACC Coastal, a strong defensive line presence will be needed if the secondary can’t figure out their own faults.

LB David Curry – OUT:

The redshirt sophomore linebacker left the spring game with a leg injury and hasn’t been heard from since. It was announced last week that he would be out for this weekend’s game. While his leg injury has never been specified and no news coming down, it’s safe to assume that Curry is going to remain out of the Jackets lineup for the foreseen future. With him already redshirting, the Jackets would have to apply Curry for a medical redshirt, allowing him to have a sixth year of eligibility.

OL Andrew Marshall – OUT:

Like Curry, it was announced that Marshall would be out for this weekend’s game. Also like Curry, Marshall’s injury has yet to be specified. It’s been over a month now that Marshall has been out and with no updates, it seems Marshall may be out for another month. Anything beyond that and the Jackets may consider redshirting Marshall to get him back for next season.
