Schedule:

Let’s start with the obvious and say that scheduling Clemson and UGA every season is an automatic trip to the top ten hardest schedules. For example, The Score has Tech ranked at number four in the country heading into this season. Combine this with a pretty competitive non-conference slate  every year and the Jackets have to claw it seems just to reach bowl eligibility. Even more troubling this year is that most of the teams in the coastal division have taken great leaps forward while Tech enters a second year under Coach Collins but the first full year within the Collins systems after making a transition last year. There is no such thing as an easy opponent anywhere on this schedule and it’s going to be tough for the Jackets to find a path to even five wins let alone six.
