The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Clemson University kickoff time has been selected.
The Jackets and the Tigers will enter Bobby Dodd Stadium on October 17 at noon. If you can’t watch it in person, you can catch the game on ABC or the ACC Network.

Currently, the Tigers lead the ACC with three wins against the Citadel, Virginia, and Wake Forest. Georgia Tech is 1-2 on the season and currently 8th in the ACC. The Jackets have home-field advantage for this match up but that hasn’t seemed to help their cause against the Tigers in the past.

The two teams first met in 1898. The last game between the two was in August of 2019. The Jackets saw a huge loss of 52-14. Trevor Lawrence threw two interceptions but that wasn’t enough to help the Jackets. Travis Etienne ran for three touchdowns and 205 yards that game. Clemson’s offense was simply much faster than Tech’s defense. The Jackets had four turnovers and gave up 500 yards on offense.

Tech will have eight days to get ready after playing Louisville this Friday. Coming off a bye week, I think we all hope to see a refreshed team emerge with Coach Collins ready to ride off with a win into the sunset. Mid-season is upon us, and time is of the essence.

This time around against Clemson, Tech fans hope to see Paul Johnson’s triple-option completely gone. Last season they were still looking a lot like the same old team. This season started out well with a few players gaining recognition.

Let’s just hope the Yellow Jackets can put their new tactics to work.
