The ESPN College GameDay crew is all in on Georgia Tech. On Saturday morning, every analyst picked the No. 12 Yellow Jackets to beat Duke.
The Blue Devils opened as a 1.5–point favorite earlier in the week. But by game day, the line had grown to 3.5 points. Oddsmakers may see Duke as the favorite, but the GameDay panel sees something different.
Georgia Tech enters the matchup at 6–0, one of only a few unbeaten teams left in ACC conference games. Duke sits at 4–2 and has shown flashes of strong play, but consistency has been a challenge.

Joining Virginia and the Blue Devils at 3–0. Georgia Tech is also the league’s only undefeated team overall at 6–0.
For Brent Key’s team, this is another chance to keep the fanbase buzzing. The Jackets have already beaten Virginia Tech and Miami on the road this season. A win at Duke would keep them unbeaten and firmly in control of the ACC race.
On Friday night, No. 2 Miami suffered its first loss of the season. Falling at home to Louisville. The 24–21. The setback dropped the Hurricanes to 5–1 overall and 1–1 in conference play. Louisville improved to 5–1 and jumped Miami in the ACC standings.
If Georgia Tech keeps rolling, talk of a trip to Charlotte for the ACC Championship could soon turn into playoff buzz.
