The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are battling back and forth with each other, as they are tied at halftime.

The Yellow Jackets offense would come out firing on all cylinders, as the team would make two of their first three shots to take a 5-0 lead. Both teams would rely on the free throw line for points over the next four minutes, as five of the next nine points would come from free throws.

The Fighting Irish would then go on a 7-0 run to make the score 13-12, but a layup by senior guard Javian McCollum would stretch the Yellow Jackets lead to 15-12.

The Fighting Irish would stay in the game in large part due to their ability to shoot from beyond the arc, making five of their first ten shots from three-point range, while the Yellow Jackets started 1-6 in the area.

The Yellow Jackets would then start to separate themselves from the Fighting Irish, going on a 7-2 run to take a 29-23 lead. The largest lead by either team is by the Yellow Jackets, when they lead 32-25 with just over three minutes remaining in the half, however the Fight Irish would battle back, tying the game with a three-pointer made by Matt Allocco at the halftime buzzer to head into the locker room tied 37-37.

Naithan George leads the Yellow Jackets with nine points. Duncan Powell has eight points for the Yellow Jackets, and Javian McCollum has seven points.
