The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and head coach Brent Key are not just looking to succeed with the current team that they have, but to expand on that team and capitalize on recruiting opportunities during the offseason by bringing in top recruits in the offseason, and he did just that when he landed class of 2026 in-state wide receiver Isaac Obrokta.

The Rabun Gap, Ga. native is a three-star that 24/7Sports.com has rankas as the No.166 overall player in the state of Georgia. Obrokta has played his high school football with the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles, where the team went 11-2 last season, and competed in the NCISAA 11-Man Football Playoffs, where they won the championship by defeating the Providence Day Chargers 42-39.

Obrokta is listed as six-foot and weighs 178 pounds, so while he is a smaller receiver he makes up for it with blazing fast speed and his route running.

The commitment of Obrokta is huge for the depth of the position for the Yellow Jackets, as they look to prepare for the 2026 season, which will not feature Eric Rivers, Malik Rutherford, or Dean Patterson, three receivers that will be crucial to the Yellow Jackets success this upcoming season.

Obrokta joins the class of 2026 recruits as the third receiver from the group, being joined by the Rome Wolves tandem of Darnell Collins and Jeremy Winston. Bringing in these young receivers are key for Key and the Yellow Jackets to maintain their newly found success at The Flats.
