It was announced earlier today what the game times will be for three Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football games this upcoming season, with the Yellow Jackets set to take on the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Rebels at 3:30 Eastern time on Sept. 6, the Clemson Tigers at 12:00 Eastern time on Sept. 13, and the Georgia Bulldogs on Nov. 28 at 3:30 Eastern time. However, it is not just the game times that have Yellow Jackets fans buzzing about the upcoming season.

The game times for four games have been released, with the other being the season-opening game against the Colorado Buffaloes on Sept. 29. What do all four of these games have in common? They will all be televised on major television networks. The Yellow Jackets games against the Tigers, Runnin' Rebels, and Buffaloes will all be featured on ESPN, while the game against the Bulldogs will be broadcasted on ABC.

Two of those games, against the Bulldogs and the Buffaloes, will be played on a Friday, and with limited teams playing on Fridays during the season, it is an opportunity for the Yellow Jackets to Jackets to show the rest of the country what they have to offer the college football landscape. While the game against the Bulldogs will be at 3:30 Eastern time on Friday, it is worth noting that they will likely be the only team playing in that time slot and on ABC.

The announcement of all four games being on major networks is something huge for the Yellow Jackets, as they are finally being looked at as a major college football program that can bring in ratings.
