The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets held their annual White and Gold Spring game today, fans and coaches alike were given the first look of live action that the team would look like next season, and needless to say, the transfer class that head coach Brent Key put together is already making their mark on the team.

Incoming transfer Kelvin Hill may have made the biggest impact of all transfers, as the former UAB Blazers cornerback proved to be a problem in the secondary, leading both teams with seven tackles. Hill was a part of what seemed to be a much-improved secondary.

Former Oregon State linebacker Matthew Jordan recorded one of the team's three sacks in the game, something that the Yellow Jackets have desperately been searching for since Key's arrival. Jordan would also contribute two tackels in the game.

On the offensive end, the group of receiver and tight ends also played a pivotal part in the receiving game, as former California Golden Bears tight end J.T. Byrne hauled in four passes for 34 yards and former South Carolina receiver Debron Gatling caught one pass for six yards.

Overall, the group showed how well they could play their positions at hand, using the experience from their past schools to help along the way. Big name recruits that did not see action was former Florida International star Eric Rivers, former Yale running back Malachi Hosley, and former Oregon State linebacker Melvin Gordon.

The Yellow Jackets will start their season with a road game against the Colorado buffaloes on Aug. 29.
