It may seem like a long way away, but the 2025 college football season is approaching fast, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have officially reached 100 days until they will kickoff their season against the Colorado Buffaloes.

A lot is the same for the Yellow Jackets heading into the season, as they return a ton of production this season, specifically on the offensive side, as wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr has been perhaps the only huge loss for the team in the offseason. Returning stars like quarterback Haynes King and Jamal Haynes made it was for head coach Brent Key to see where he needed to target in the transfer portal, a wide receiver, and he did just that, as he got Eric Rivers and Dean Patterson from Florida International.

The secondary for the Yellow Jackets went through some changes, seeing Tate Seymore leave, but they brought in cornerback Kelvin Hill, who will be a starter for the Yellow Jackets when they take the field against the Buffaloes. On top of that, the Yellow Jackets have brought in a new defensive coordinator in Blake Gideon after Tyler Santucci left in the offseason to take the Baltimore Ravens linebacker coach job.

The Yellow Jackets will undoubtedly have something coming into the season that they are not familiar with: expectations.

This will be one of the pivotal seasons for the Yellow Jackets in recent memory, and they can not afford to have another seven-win season. The Yellow Jackets have a huge opportunity in 2025 to take a huge leap, and they do not want to waste it.
