Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football head coach Brent Key has been hot on the recruiting trail for the last month, trying to garner what he can from the 2026 recruiting class, and he got another big win in that area, as he has now got a commitment from wide receiver Jeffar Jean-Noel.

Jean-Noel was a three-star recruit that was dubbed as one of the biggest wide receiver targets in the state of Florida, Jean-Noel previously committed to West Virginia before recommitting and opening back up his recruitment. Jean Noel also held offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, UCF, and Purdue, to name just some of the schools that offered him.

Jean-Noel comes to the Yellow Jackets after playing his high school career at American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2024, Jean Paul caught 34 passes for 505 yards and five touchdowns en route to helping the American Heritage Patriots to a 4A State Championship.

Jean-Paul is also on the track team for the Patriots, competing in the 4x400 race, where he made it all the way to regionals last season.

Standing at 5-10 and weighing 170 pounds, Jean-Noel is a little bit undersized, but makes up for it with blazing fast speed and his ability to get yards after receptions.

The addition will be the fifth wide receiver that Key has had this offseason, joining Kentrell Davis, Isaac Obrokta, and Rome, Georgia duo Darnell Collins and Jeremy Winston. This shows where Key feels he needs to hit the recruiting portal the most this offseason.
