The anticipation is building for College Football 26, as the EA Sports video is set to release the newest edition of the college football game on July 10. EA Sports dropped some insight on who fans can expect to be among the best teams in the game, as the dropped the 25 teams that will have the highest overall on the game, and again it seems like the disrespect for one team continues this offseason: the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets, despite being dark horses for the ACC this season, were left out of the top 25 teams, with teams like the Duke Blue Devils and Missouri Tigers making the cut, which is baffling to me to say the least.

I thought the Yellow Jackets more than proved themselves to be one of the top teams in the entire country last season, and with a ton of the production from the team returning, it seemed imminent that the Yellow Jackets would finally work their way into the ranking.

I get that the defense for the team might be a question mark to people that did not follow the team all of last season, but the Yellow Jackets defense finished among the best in the ACC, while the offense will return both quarterback Haynes King and Jamal Haynes, on top of one of grabbing one of the top-producing receivers in the nation in Eric Rivers in the transfer portal in the offseason.

The overall for the Yellow Jackets in the game has not been released.
