With the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets now on a three-game losing streak, the holes in the team have come to light a little more than the Yellow Jackets would like, who looked like one of the top four or five teams heading into the ACC tournament.

The first loss was to now-No.9 ranked NC State 83-68 on Feb. 20, but that was the only loss during the losing streak that the Yellow Jackets are currently on. Then on Sunday, the Yellow Jackets hosted the Florida State Seminoles, and even without NCAA points per game leader Ta’Niya Larson, the Seminoles would squeeze out a dramatic 73-70 victory over the Yellow Jackets.

Then came Thursday. The Yellow Jackets would go on the road to face a California Golden Bears team that had looked good this season, but lacked a signature win. Although they were neck and neck in the conference standings, the Golden Bears sure did not play like it. The Golden Bears put up 79 points on the Yellow Jackets, as the team would slip further in the ACC standings. The Yellow Jackets would lose to the Golden Bears 79-65 in a contest that did not seem to be close at all, as the Golden Bears lead 23-9 after the first quarter.

The Yellow Jackets still have one game left in the regular season, the Stanford Cardinal, although it seems as if the teams fate is sealed at the eight spot in the ACC tournament, meaning that the Yellow Jackets would most likely play Virginia Tech in the first round of the tournament.
