The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were back in action yesterday, looking for their first road ACC win of the season, having gone 0-3 in such games to this point. However, the Florida State Seminoles had other plans for the Yellow Jackets, as they defeated them 91-78.

The Seminoles started the game red hot, making three of their first four shots, while the Yellow Jackets started the game shooting 1-7. The slow start is something that the Yellow Jackets fans have become all too familiar with this season, as the team hasn't scored more than 25 points in the first half during the team's four-game losing streak, including only scoring 19 points in the first half in their game against the SMU Mustangs on Jan. 11.

The Yellow Jackets would go down 37-24 at halftime.

The second half would start on a positive note for the Yellow Jackets, as they would start the half on a 10-0 run that included three turnovers in the span of three minutes, as the team would get within striking distance, making the game 37-34. However, the Seminoles offense was too much for the Yellow Jackets. Add in the ejection to Yellow Jackets forward Baye Ndongo in the third quarter due to foul trouble, and you get an even more depleted team than they already had.

It wasn't all bad for the Yellow Jackets though, as three players scored more than 20 points in the contest: Lance Terry lead the way with 23, while Javian McCollum and Duncan Powell both scored exactly 20. Ndongo added 12 rebounds before his ejection.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Wednesday to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies.
