College Football fans everywhere are anticipated for the newest edition of the addition of the EA Sports college football franchise, and the company played into that anticipation by releasing some key information on the game. One of those pieces of information was who will be among the top ten offense in the video game, and as a surprise to me, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets offense was left out of the group.

The Yellow Jackets offense was among the best in college football last season, putting up 187 rushing yards per game, good for second in the entire ACC.

However, with the returning production that the Yellow Jackets will have, they should have been much higher.

They have perhaps the best QB-RB-WR trio in all of college football heading into 2025 in quarterback Haynes King, running back Jamal Haynes, and wide receiver Eric Rivers, who all had phenomenal seasons in 2024.

They also have a very good wide receiver second option in Malik Rutherford, who put up 702 receiving yards last season and three touchdowns.

Perhaps the most puzzling thing to me is that the Yellow Jackets also have a great offensive line that will return three starters from last season in Keylan Rutledge, Joe Fusile, and Ethan Mackenny. The Yellow Jackets offensive line allowed just nine sacks all of last season, the third fewest in the entire country.

Put all of that together, and you have an offense that undoubtedly should have been featured among the best in college football in 2025.
