Georgia Tech offensive line could be one of the most overlooked groups on the team

Much can be said about the skill positions for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets heading into next season, as they have one of the best QB-RB-WR trios in the entire nation returning to the team in 2025. However, an overlooked part of the offense next season will be how well the offensive line does and if they can continue their success from last season.

It is clear that Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key puts a lot of work into building up his offensive line, and that can be see by what they did last season, as they proved to be a force to be reckoned with, averaging 187 rushing yards, second in the entire ACC, and allowing nine sacks all of last season, the third fewest in the country.

Three of the starters from that offensive line unit departed in the offseason: Weston Franklin, Jordan Williams, and Corey Robinson. The good news is that they Yellow Jackets are returning two starters from last year’s unit: Keylan Rutledge and Joe Fusile. They are also returning Ethan Mackenny, who split playing time with Robinson last season.
The Yellow Jackets also brought in just the second five-star recruit in program history in the offseason, signing the No.2 rated lineman in the 2025 recruiting class. They also brought in four-star offensive line recruit Peyton Joseph in the offseason.

Then you add in a mixture of guys that got little playing time last season but are ready to prove themselves, like Tana Ali-Tupuola and Jordan Floyd, and you get a unit that could make significant strides in 2025 and maintain the success from last season.
