With the 2025 college baseball season quickly approaching, teams are looking for what their strengths and weaknesses are, trying to maximize one and limit showing the other. Perhaps the greatest strength of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets heading into this season will be the outfield, but could the team possibly have one of the best outfields in all of college baseball?

The Yellow Jackets return the best player in all of college baseball in outfielder Drew Burress, who led the team in six different batting categories last season. Burress has showed no signs of slowing down on his production, and will try to be a captain on a team full of young players with potential. The sophomore was voted the No.1 rated sophomore headed into this season in all of college baseball by Perfect Game this offseason.

The strength of the outfield comes from it's depth though, as the Yellow Jackets have another outfielder that could make a lot of noise in 2025, junior Parker Brosius, who started 33 games for the Yellow Jackets last season, and had an on base percentage of .442, second highest on the team, just behind Burress.

The third spot in the Yellow Jackets outfield is up in the air that could see a slew of rotational guys like freshmen Nathanael Coupet, who was the No.13 rated outfielder in his recruiting class, or Cooper McCollum, who was the No.8 ranked outfielder in the same recruiting class. No matter who the Yellow Jackets decide on for the third spot, Burress and Brosius could lead the position group to be among the best in the nation.
