PFF has released their list of the top ten running backs heading into the 2025 college football season, and one of the names that appeared on the list was Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets runnings back Jamal Haynes.

Haynes came in as the ninth best returning running back in the country, and rightfully so if we are being honest.

In his two seasons with the Yellow Jackets, Haynes has 2,005 rushing yards, and has been a part of some of the greatest moments for the team in that span, such as his 68-yard touchdown run with 16 seconds left in the game this past season against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Haynes has also been reliable for the Yellow Jackets, something that the team has valued with all the injuries that they have had to deal with in recent seasons.

Even more so, Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key and offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner view the running game as the main focus of the offense, and having a weapon like Haynes makes it that much more dangerous.

Other players that made the lists were last year's standouts, such as Jeremiah Love, Makhi Hughes, Nicholas Singleton, and Isaac Brown.

The Yellow Jackets offense is set up for a big season in 2025 with all the returning production that they are getting back, but having a trustworthy back that can execute plays in a tough and late game situation that could make the difference for the Yellow Jackets in a season that is expected to be a great one for the team.
