Georgia Tech's incoming wide receiver could be among the best in the ACC in 2025

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team seen little turnover on their production this offseason, as it seemed as if every major contributor for the Yellow Jackets will be returning next season, with the exception of Eric Singleton Jr, but the Yellow Jackets did a great job to make sure his role was filled in the offseason, and they could enter the season with one of the best wide receivers in the entire ACC.

The incoming transfer from Florida International, Eric Rivers, plays a big part in why I believe that the Yellow Jackets position group will make a big splash next season. Rivers finished eleventh in the country last season with 1,172 receiving yards, and the fourth most from any group of five team last season.

His athleticism is something that the Yellow Jackets will need next season, and they could not ask for a better player than Rivers to deliver on that, as Rivers also finished fifth in the entire country in touchdown receptions last season, as he finished with 12. It is also a testament to his big play ability that it only took Rivers 62 catches to finish that high in both categories.

There has been a long line of Georgia Tech receiver come through the program, including Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, and Stephen Hill, and while Rivers will only be with the Yellow Jackets for one season, he could very well have one of the best seasons in school history.
