The No. 7 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets continued their dream season Saturday with a commanding 41–16 win over the Syracuse Orange at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The victory moved the Jackets to 8–0, marking one of their best starts in decades and keeping them firmly in control of their path toward the ACC Championship Game.
Quarterback Haynes King was the star once again. He completed 25 of 31 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns while adding 91 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground. King’s ability to make plays both through the air and with his legs kept the Syracuse defense guessing all afternoon.
Tight end Josh Beetham had a productive performance, catching two touchdown passes, while Dean Patterson added another score through the air. The Georgia Tech offense was balanced and efficient, moving the ball with ease and finishing drives when it mattered most.

With the win, Georgia Tech remains unbeaten and one of the hottest teams in college football. The Jackets now turn their focus to next week’s road matchup against NC State. The Wolfpack enter the game 4–3 and face Pitt this weekend before hosting Tech. While Virginia who is 4-0 in the ACC survied by one point, against Bill Belichick and UNC.
As the regular season winds down, Georgia Tech’s path to an ACC title and potential playoff berth is clearer than ever. Each week, the Jackets prove that their success is no fluke. It is the result of confidence, balance, and belief in what could be a truly historic season.
