With the season in full swing, the No. 18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have now put themselves in a situation where they are looking like they can compete with the best of the best in college baseball, and that will be put to the test tomorrow, as the Yellow Jackets will host No. 11 Auburn.

The Yellow Jackets have taken the league by storm, as they have climbed all the way to No. 18 in the rankings after entering the season unranked. Auburn too did not start in the Top 25 of D1Baseball.com's poll, but have found themselves sitting at No. 11 after impressive series wins over Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky.

The Tigers are coming off perhaps their biggest series of the season, where they won two of three against Alabama, run ruling them in game one of the series, while the Yellow Jackets come into the game winners of their last four games, including a three game sweep over the Stanford Cardinal, where the Yellow Jackets outscored the Cardinal 36-11.

The game could be one of the more critical ones for both teams, as both teams are trying to pick up wins against formidable opponents to bolster their strength of record.

If the Yellow Jackets are able to get a win over the Tigers, it would be a big leap for the Yellow Jackets, proving that they can beat one of the best teams in the nation.

First pith for the contest is set for 6 PM Eastern time.
