In what was the biggest series for both teams so far this season, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Clemson Tigers would come into their weekend series as two of the top teams in the ACC this season, with Clemson trying to maintain their No.6 ranking, while the Yellow Jackets would try to prove to the college baseball landscape that they belong among the top teams in the country.

The two would meet for the first time on Friday night, and the first game of the series showed us that we would be in for a good one, as the two teams battled back and forth until Clemson would come out victorious in a 9-7 back-and-forth slugfest between the two teams.

Game two and three would be played as a double header today, as worries of inclement weather started to loom over the staff, so the series would end on Saturday in a doubleheader rather than play the game Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets knew that they would have to get off to a fast start in game two of the series to build momentum and keep their chances of winning the series alive. And they did exactly that, as they got a resounding 18-2 win over the Tigers to even the series up.

The Yellow Jackets seemed to have game three in hand, carrying a one run lead over to the top of the ninth inning, however the Tigers would get two runs to come away with a 4-3 win over the Yellow Jackets, winning two of the three games of the series.
